STORY

The original oil sight glass by PK Machine was born in a California oil refinery which was trying to determine the condition of lubricating oil and bearings in a running pump.
The oil sight glass was the invention of an engineer and machinist. (Debenetti - "Deb Jug"). The invention was transitioned to a product manufactured by the Penn-Knight Company. In 1962, oil sight glasses became the industry standard and are now distributed throughout the world.
